Zonta International
Zonta International is a worldwide service organization, working to improve the status of women. Zonta provides a rich diversity in its membership, having currently over 34,000 members in 70 countries, as well as fellowship, leadership, networking, and travel opportunities at local, district, and international levels. In addition to local service projects in their own communities, members support a variety of international service projects. The objectives of Zonta International are:
- To provide service at the global and local level.
- To improve the legal, political, economic and professional status of women.
- To work for the advancement of understanding, good will and peace through a world fellowship of executive women in business and professions.

- To be united internationally to foster high ethical standards, to implement service programs, and to provide mutual support and fellowship for members who service their communities, their nations, and the universe.
